How do we get started?
Choosing the right designer is an important first step in the design process. The first step is to arrange a no-obligation consultation call with Jody to talk about your home and design needs. This is a chance to ask any questions you have about the design process and for Jody to get to know more about you, your lifestyle, design preferences, and desired outcome and confirm if we are a good fit for your project.

Is there a consultation fee?
Our initial phone consultation is absolutely free of charge and is a chance to confirm if we are a good fit for your project. If we both agreed to move forward, Jody will arrange a convenient time to visit your home to assess the space and discuss your project requirements in more detail. This is a chance to discuss your ideas, the function of the room/s, layout options, style treatment, your must-haves, and your wish list. You will spend time looking at pictures of rooms you love, things that inspire you, and the dream vision you have for your home.  This initial 2-hour in-home consultation is $525 + tax and will leave you with a clear plan and the best options for your space.

What will your full-services cost?
Jody Sokol Design work on both small and large scale projects and our fees are calculated based on the scope of work involved and are a reasonable assessment of the time and resources required to complete the project. Following the initial consultation, we will present you with a proposal outlining the scope of work for the design and the associated fees based upon the estimated amount of working hours of the project.

As a full-service boutique design firm, we take care of every aspect of the project from the initial design concept through to selecting, sourcing, and purchasing products, contractor coordination, and installation. We charge a flat fee which eliminates any concern about accumulating large hourly design fees and frees Jody to concentrate on creating a beautiful space within the agreed budget.
